Our planet is our collective home...

I think that our planet is actually structured to BE a 'planetary paradise' for us all... Through this organisation, 'Our Planet (Our Paradise)' I have one goal: to enable a planet that celebrates us ALL, whatever/whoever we are, to live in wild freedom, aware that we all born, entitled, to thrive...

[To step us all out of our old thinking and present my suppositions of how I think our world could really be, this web page is a little bit different: I have laid it out as a series of step by step presentations. * Throughout the presentations below, I use the words 'honest / honesty' & 'dishonest / dishonesty' a lot. So here's a helpful definition of what I mean by 'honesty'... WHAT IS 'TRUTH'? One definition is: 'That which is true or in accordance with fact or reality.'

Here's what I think is happening, in our world right now...

Right now, most of our global human community appears to have a very dishonest (perhaps born from old fashioned thinking/conditioning) relationship with ourselves & all other creatures: our planet as a whole.

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTS...

Our 'mindset/way of thinking' ripples & echoes out through our world, represented by our behaviours & actions: how we treat ourselves, our planet, one another & all other creatures.

OUR 'THINKING' RIPPLES THROUGH OUR PLANET...

If I invited you to step back & regard our whole planet now, I think you'd find yourself observing that these mass global/individual behaviours & actions appear as identifiable patterns, featured & playing out all across our planet.

WE CAN STEP BACK & RECOGNISE COMMON THEMES, AS PATTERNS...

THESE PATTERNS ARE...

The truth is... These planetary 'parts' or 'creatures' (above) do not actually require our observation and judgement as they are independent creatures, perhaps even with their own awareness about themselves. If we try & define them, we are doing so only in our own minds: our opinions are utterly irrelevant to them, unless we then use our objectification of them in our minds to forcibly impact them - control, dominate, oppress and/or exploit them - through our actions too.

If we do forcibly impact them, it is an act of abuse - just as it is abusive when one human violates the independent rights of another - as we have no greater right over other planetary creatures than they have over us. “I am here / You are here.” - That’s it. That’s the only reality that we live within...

THESE 'PLANETARY PATTERNS' PRESENT THEMSELVES THROUGH OUR HUMAN 'THINKING' ABOUT OURSELVES & OTHERS & OUR SUBSEQUENT BEHAVIOURS...

The patterns start with our relationship with ourselves and then onwards/outwards with regards to the rest of our planet...

We humans appear to be unaware of the actual REALITY that we exist in.

We humans appear to be unaware of our actual 'planetary natures' (what you will see me referencing, further on, as our 'wild perfection').

As we are unaware of OUR wild perfection, so we are blind to it in the world around us and all other creatures.

As we are unaware of the wild perfection of our planet as a whole (and all that we could find that we have in common with other humans AND all other creatures) so we appear to have started to zone in on what we think of as our 'differences'. I don't know why or how it started, but this certainly appears to be the case.

PLANETARY OBJECTIFICATION... With language came labelling, which is just a tool to negotiate our world & keep one another safe - ie. A 'Foxglove' can kill, a 'Nettle' can sting. It is by taking it further, into a way of living that is chaotic & illusional - 'objectification' - that we have manifested a self delusional world around ourselves because we have started to think of our objectification & judgements of one another and our world as 'truth/facts' and they are neither.

I THINK THAT WE ARE BLIND... This lack of awareness of ourselves & others and our following 'planetary objectification' seems to have blinded us humans and - now lost in the fog of dishonest thinking & dishonest relationships with ourselves & our world - it appears that there is no part of our planet, as yet impacted by humans, that has escaped our increasingly, and yet utterly insane, worth/measurement systems. We are fooling ourselves.

AND THE APPARENT RESULT IS...

The more we humans start to compare/hold up parts of our planet against one another and the more that we appear to lose ourselves down the foggy rabbit hole of dishonesty & self delusion, I have started to wonder if we're beginning to both literally and figuratively rip apart the world around us.

Sometimes it seems to me that we're carving up & ripping apart our planet - literally, with bombs, machinery, pollutants & even our bare hands - in a frantic search for 'truth' (for an anchor to hold us together).

Whatever we're up to, through our carving up of the planet - as if we humans are rehashing bits of a jigsaw, over and over, to see what kind of reality we can make for ourselves - we appear to be bringing about discordance & discomfort amongst all those that we're objectifying & moving about - this can be other humans, as well as all other creatures - like bits within the jigsaw, as though they only exist for us to do with as we like.

BUT I THINK THAT THIS IS JUST A NOW 'ACCIDENTALLY DISHONEST' WORLD THAT WE'RE LIVING IN, IT DOESN'T 'HAVE' TO BE THIS WAY...

I THINK THAT WE ARE ACTUALLY BORN TO LIVE HONESTLY, WILDLY & FREELY... AND, IF WE ARE HONEST, I THINK THAT OUR WORLD WILL NATURALLY EVOLVE INTO A PLANETARY PARADISE.

BUT WHY DO I THINK THIS?

WHO AM I? I have been engaged in human, animal & environmental welfare for 24 years.

In a world that appeared to me to rock with conflicts (both huge & momentary) I became very interested in finding out if there were any 'universal truths' that we all had in common, so that these truths could form an anchor to unite us and potentially enable a greater chance for us all to thrive.

I began my research to find out 'what is true about our world(?)' totally from scratch, as though I knew nothing, as though I had just been born. Right from the start, I was prepared to abandon my efforts at any point, if I could find no 'universal truths'.

But it turns out that there are commonalities that we all share. My research led me to the point that I think that our planet is structured/designed to be a paradise for us all…

I hear from lots of people who express to me that they're afraid that we are stuck within a cycle of our own human self destruction - that we humans ARE innately dominating/destructive - from which we can never break free. But I think that we humans are just temporarily living from an old fashioned mindset (from stories that we appeared to tell ourselves a long time ago, who knows why, that it's time for us to now outgrow) and I think that we can live in a planetary paradise. I think that, If we are honest with ourselves, it is here for us, now. All we have to do is choose it…

IT ALL STARTS WITH A 'REFRESH'...

It all starts with a commitment to finding out how our planet is REALLY structured and what universal truths there REALLY are, because right now, as a society, we appear to have them upside down and inside out, and what's much worse than that is that most of us don't even seem to realise... So, the beginning of a planetary paradise is wanting SO much to live our best lives (and maybe even wanting that for others) that we are open to finding out what is honest and true about our planet and how that might serve us, to live our very best lives & wildest dreams...

AND FROM 'HONEST AWARENESS' IS BORN AN 'HONEST WORLD' - AND WHAT COULD THIS LOOK LIKE?

A planetary paradise... It starts with a global community of humans who are honest with ourselves (honestly aware) of what I call, our 'shared reality'... And within this 'shared reality' we are aware of what/who every planetary creature IS and our individual & collective places in our world. You see, we humans are just 'planetary creatures' (just like a a bee or a dandelion or a jellyfish is a planetary creature). We, ALL of us, have common planetary 'natures' and common, shared, planetary 'rights'.

IT STARTS WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL HUMAN

AND TOGETHER WE MANIFEST OUR COLLECTIVE REALITY...

WHAT DO WE ALL HAVE IN COMMON?

WE ARE ALL 'PLANETARY CREATURES' WHICH ACTUALLY MAKES US ALL 'WILD' CREATURES. We are all also BORN FREE.

WE ARE OUR PLANET/NATURE ITSELF (the idea that there are 'humans' and 'nature' - as 2 separate entities - is a strange misunderstanding of our world: it isn't true, at all...)

WE ARE JUST 'HERE', 'NOW.

WE ARE 'POWER' ITSELF. (We ARE the actual energy/mass/matter that IS our universe itself, expanding & contracting into infinite forms: in our planet's case, into infinite 'planetary parts & creatures').

WHAT ARE OUR COMMON/SHARED NATURES?

AS WE ARE 'OUR PLANET ITSELF' THEN A UNIVERSAL TRUTH IS THAT WE ARE ALL EQUAL & PERFECT, IN OUR VERY, COMMON NATURES. (That's right, you're perfect, as are we all, EVERY planetary creature).

WE ARE ALL HERE WITH ONE COMMON PURPOSE: TO 'BE' OURSELVES THE BEST THAT WE CAN BE, TO THRIVE. FROM THE MOMENT WE'RE BORN WE HAVE ONE COMMON BIRTHRIGHT/ENTITLEMENT & MOTIVATION: TO THRIVE.

WHAT ARE OUR COMMON/SHARED PLANETARY RIGHTS?

OUR 'PLANETARY NATURES' BIRTH THE 'RIGHTS' THAT WE ALL SHARE... As we are all planetary/wild/equal/perfect, so we all exist on one common level (no one above or below another, in status or worth or 'deserving') and so our planetary rights are living as the 'wildly perfect' creatures that we are, each of us free & each of us living with autonomy over our own minds & bodies, whatever/whoever we are.

Our planet birthed us ALL with one common motivation, to thrive. That's all we're here to be/do. It is the planetary right of ALL of us, whatever/whoever we are, to live life on our own terms, as WE choose, free of any control / dominance / oppression from another.

THE 'UNIVERSAL TRUTH' THAT I FIND MOST POTENT/EXCITING: WE APPEAR TO BE STRUCTURED TO THRIVE BETTER, TOGETHER...

Our planet... We appear to exist in a world that is made up of infinite interconnected parts & through all of the parts, our planet observes itself, reflects itself, relates to itself, serves itself, influences/inspires & impacts and even feeds off itself.

As we are always relating to one another as one planet, how we treat others immediately creates a reality around us that either boosts us or inhibits us.

We cannot avoid being an example to ourselves, of the world we live in: the world we share. As an extremely basic example...

If we 'offer a helping hand/help others to thrive', we are rewarded by getting to be an example to ourselves that we live in a world where we too might receive help from another planetary creature, to live our best lives, enabling us with greater trust in the world around us, greater well being & a greater likelihood of 'succeeding' in what matters to us.

If we intentionally 'inhibit/hold back/undermine/oppress others', we are inhibited as we have been an example to ourselves of a force that trips us up in the world and we know that there is a risk that another planetary creature could behave similarly to us. This causes us to distrust the world at large and experience a subsequently inhibited well being, undermining our own chances of 'success' in what matters to us.

Thus, we create our reality around ourselves and by enabling (even just 'allowing', without interference) all around us to thrive, so we bring about a world that supports us to more easily live our best lives too. [This is a tiny delving into what is a deep understanding & examination of our planetary structure: I go into great detail on this supposition in my HANDBOOK.]

IF ALL THAT I HAVE SHARED SO FAR IS TRUE/FACTUALLY PROVEN, HOW DOES IT ADD UP TO A 'PLANETARY PARADISE?'

HERE IS THE DEFINITION OF A 'PARADISE'

What's the dictionary definition of the word 'paradise'? ... *'PARADISE' - 'An ideal or idyllic place or state'.

So, let's look at the word *'IDEAL' in the dictionary... It means: 'Satisfying one's conception of what is perfect; most suitable.'

You might remember that - above - I have asserted that we are ALL 'perfect' & we each all seek to thrive, in our own ways.

So... A 'Planetary Paradise' is a planet that is both 'perfect' in and of itself AND perfect for EACH of us (in our own way).

WE EXIST 'INDIVIDUALLY' & 'PLANETARILY'

IT STARTS WITH BEING HONEST WITH OURSELVES...

As individuals - as 'one' planetary creature - it starts with our awareness/mindset and the present 'reality/world' that this forms up around each of us.

As 'individuals' do you realise that we are ALSO a 'habitat' for lots of other 'individual' creatures? Even us humans are 'habitat' (for bacteria & mites, for example). On top of this... Just like bacteria inhabits us, we also inhabit the 'habitat' that is 'our whole planet' AND we are one 'part' of our 'planetary community' - this planetary community has levels in it, from personal/local & national communities, all adding up to one planetary community - and as 'our planet' as a whole, we impact others and are equally impacted in our turn.

LET'S LOOK AT THE FUNDAMENTALS THAT WE HAVE IN COMMON & THEN ALL THAT IS UNKNOWN, ABOUT US...

A 'planetary paradise' is, I think, simply the inevitable conclusion of us humans being honest with ourselves... If we are honest with ourselves, I think that our lives become states of empowerment & celebration...

- WE CAN CELEBRATE... That we are 'power itself'. From this we can be aware that, at our core, we are an ongoing mystery/unknown entity, even to ourselves... What do I mean by this? Well...

When we drop all of the labels - ‘I am a Human’ - we are left with a present day POWER: me. As 'power itself' we equate to 'potency itself'...

The only limitations placed on us are those that we place upon ourselves. Just because no one has done something before, it does not mean that it isn’t possible now. Any limitations might have just been a symptom of the world that we had created for ourselves, up until now.

WE HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT WE ARE CAPABLE... We do not know what is possible/impossible, for us to do/achieve. We only know what we haven’t already managed to achieve BUT this is no actual indication of our capabilities or how we might thrive in the future.

What am I made of and how do I work? I know that I have been told lots about myself - ‘I have skin’, ‘I am contracted of bones and muscles and tissue’ and ‘I have eyes that see or ears that hear’ - BUT what is actually true? I can pop all of the labels that I want onto bits of my body - toe, knee, finger, hip etc - but underpinning it all, who/what am I? I am power itself, presented as a planetary creature.

Most of our world is a mystery/unknown to us & beyond our current comprehension: this reality GUARANTEES that there might be limitless potential to enable/bring about our desires.

- WE CAN CELEBRATE... Our common/shared natures (that we are our planet/nature itself, wild, equal & perfect) as 'planetary creatures'.

- WE CAN CELEBRATE... Our common/shared planetary rights: our wild freedoms...

- AND... From this honest awareness (as I think of it) of ourselves and others, we can celebrate that we are ALL born with one common motivation/purpose in life: to BE the most 'ME/US' that we can be, in every moment. In other words, our only motivation in life is to 'thrive', whatever/however that means for each of us. We can trust in this because - as we are 'power/potency itself' - every experience, no matter what, might just be able to be turned to our advantage, to live our best lives...

A PLANETARY PARADISE, FOR US AS INDIVIDUALS...

HERE WE ARE, TOGETHER...

HOW CAN WE EXIST WITHIN A PLANETARY PARADISE?

I think that it starts by being aware of the 'bigger picture': it is not about what we give/take as part of our planet as much as how aware we are of the planetary structure we exist within, our true 'planetary natures' and our impact on one another as one whole planet.

If we celebrate that we are a 'wild & perfect creature' living amongst other wild & perfect creatures (as Einstein stated, "We are all life trying to live, among other life trying to live.") I think we'll find ourselves living in daily wonder at how amazing we ALL are.

WE EXIST AS 'INDIVIDUALS' WITHIN OUR LOCAL & GLOBAL 'ENVIRONMENTS/COMMUNITIES'...

INDIVIDUALLY... We can celebrate our own wild perfection & focus on our own happiness.

AS PART OF A GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT... As one 'part' of infinite 'parts' (all of us planetary creatures) within an interconnected, 'whole' planet, we are impacted/influenced by our environment: locally & globally. What this means is that if we exist in a world that celebrates the wild perfection and right to freedom of EVERYONE, then not only do we have a mindset that best enables us to thrive BUT our whole planet is structured to support us in our hopes & dreams: we are maximally enabled to thrive.

DO WE CHOOSE A PLANETARY PARADISE?

So now we have reached the all important question (now it's just up to us to discover)... If we are AWARE that our planet is structured for us to ALL thrive better, together, do we choose to live in such ways that enable a planetary paradise?

I think that we do. I think that a planetary paradise is the inevitable manifestation of an honest relationship with ourselves & our planet. I think that it is our birthright to be part of a planet that enables itself to thrive on every level, and I think that we humans are in the process of discovering that now is the time for us to start living to our maximum.

AND IF YOU'RE THINKING IT'S IMPOSSIBLE....

If you're thinking anything along the lines of 'this is idealistic, ridiculous, an impossible utopia and you're fooling yourself/wasting my time' I say to you... We humans are already an incredibly ingenious, creative & resourceful species. I think that, by being honest with ourselves & being aware of our own power/wild perfection, we will find new ways to structure our global human community to revolve around our shared planetary natures & rights, to sustain ourselves & live our best lives.

If we consider the structures that we humans have formed up, out of the world around us, we are nothing if not capable and imaginative. All it takes, for a planetary paradise to be possible, is for us to do the same again (or just adapt/evolve our structures) only this time from an honest awareness of the planetary nature/rights that we share with ALL other creatures, so that we are motivated, visualise & act from what I think of as a 'honest, wild mindset'. It is my supposition that, from this mindset, the inevitable conclusion could be a 'planetary paradise' for all of us, where we humans will thrive on a (possibly) unprecedented level AND where all other planetary creatures will also find themselves enabled - and not inhibited, as so many of them currently are, by our human actions - to fully thrive too.

A LOT OF OUR PLANET IS ALREADY 'WILD & FREE'...

Before I started the research that has brought me to this point of founding 'Our Planet (Our Paradise)' I would have been shocked & rattled by the infographs/presentations below. I would have thought that they shook up the framework of our world and how we humans exist.

But now, aware as I am of our 'planetary common natures' & our inter-connectedness, I don't think that these ideas will rock our world at all.

What if, by us humans becoming aware of all that we have in common with one another AND every other creature, we're not SHATTERING our world but merely aligning & harmonising with the planetary structure & operating processes that other creatures are already living by, which will, in turn, enable our planet, as a whole, to fully thrive (enabling us humans to fully thrive too)?

Think of all of the planetary creatures that are living wild & free...

They are all living in self formed & independent 'tribes / herds / flocks / packs' - or whatever we humans have randomly labelled them as - but essentially, they live as communities & families.

They all exist within a swirl of territories & boundaries: they are living independently and - as we are 'one planet' - they are equally impacted & influenced by the world & other creatures around them, just as they impact & influence others.

Think of all of the examples where a 'wild & free' existence for planetary creatures is already happening, across our planet.

WILD & FREE CREATURES...

It’s about recognising the wildness of ALL of us and our birthright to be free, to make our own choices…

It’s about recognising the choices that we humans can take for granted…

The choice of where & how we get to live.
The choice of the relationships we get to make, long term & short term.
The choice - in short - to live independently & to choose our own experiences...

The choices we all make are different - how we want to live our lives is bespoke for all of us - but they are the choices that we are ALL born with the right to make, for ourselves. A wild & free existence: celebrating the wild perfection of ourselves & others.

IT'S ABOUT THE CHOICES THAT WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE FOR OURSELVES...

A PLANETARY PARADISE...

In letting our old thinking go, I think that we'll find ourselves freshly aware that we're part of a planet in which we humans appear to be newly discovering ourselves & other creatures & discovering our full potency to thrive, individually & together.

What could our planet be like, I wonder, if we humans celebrated ourselves so fully, that we inevitably also celebrated the world that we're part of - as we are both 'ourselves' AND 'our planet' - as well as all others that we share it with, in this global mingling, impacting & influencing planetary community of wildly perfect creatures?

A PLANETARY PARADISE IS A WORLD IN WHICH WE ARE HONEST (IN WHICH WE ARE TRUE TO OURSELVES & OTHERS).

In a world in which we humans are honest with ourselves & others, we're aware that not only are we fundamentally a mystery/unknown to ourselves but so is all the world and so are ALL other creatures a mystery to us.

Within our planet, as it currently stands, we humans appear to be in our infancy, as a species: we're only just starting to find out about ourselves and other creatures. One of the few facts that ALREADY appears to be certain about all of us, however, is that we are 'wildly perfect creatures' swirling amongst and around other wildly perfect creatures, 'whatever'/'whoever' we are.

Imagine that we're all living in a 'planetary paradise' right now...

It's a world in which we humans universally celebrate the wild perfection of every part of our planet, whatever part/creature we are (and MORE than that, in which we honour the individual entitlement that we're all born with, to live our best lives, on EACH of our own terms).

It's a world in which we all find ourselves empowered & enabled to not only celebrate ourselves but to also rejoice in our full power & responsibility for our thinking & our actions. (Eg. Being aware that we are an example to ourselves of the world we live in, so acting in ways that serve us).

It's a world in which we ALL - every creature - have the power of choice over our OWN existences (where & how we live & the relationships that we get to choose for ourselves, for starters)...

In acknowledging the commonalities of ALL of us (EVERY planetary creature, whatever/whoever we are) I suggest that we will be harmonising with this ONLY way of existence that appears to empower ALL creatures, to fully thrive.

This state of 'wild & free' living actually already appears to exist in infinite messy, perfect ways across the world. We can seem to find this way of existence tucked away under rocks; in a 'wild patch' at the bottom of lots of gardens; in jungles; held in the darkness of ocean caverns; and more...

If we are ALL born with the same common natures & rights - and if we humans are honest with ourselves & recognise that we comprehend almost nothing about our planet, and that we cannot currently know if other creatures might all be equally aware/sentient & equally able to relish/suffer through different experiences - then couldn't a planetary paradise actually be the most logical structure to enable the well being of ALL of us?

Moreover, if we acknowledge that it definitely appears that our planetary structure is designed for us to all thrive better together (that the more all of us planetary creatures thrive as a whole, the more we are each individually boosted to thrive) I wonder then how might we choose to exist? How might we choose to observe, relate to, interact with and feed off our planet & other creatures, as other creatures observe, relate to, interact with and feed off our planet & us?

In summary: I am putting forward the supposition that we appear to be born into a world where the control / exploitation of either us humans ourselves or any other creature actually undermines the well being of our planet as a whole. I think that our planet is structured for us ALL to live wild & free existences: existences of our own choosing.

To finish with the words that I opened this page with... "Through this organisation, 'Our Planet (Our Paradise)' I have one goal: to enable a planet that celebrates us ALL, whatever/whoever we are, to live in wild freedom, aware that we all born, entitled, to thrive..."

It's taken me years of research, consideration, discussion & eventually, acceptance that I am not actually mad myself (that our human relationship with our planet is actually so dishonest that it's back to front/inside out/upside down right now).
